This paper summarizes and analyzes the advanced practices of Chinese and foreign oilfield enterprises in intelligent construction, and believes that intelligent oilfields should have four capabilities: comprehensive perception, integrated coordination, early warning and prediction, and analysis and optimization. On the basis of the comprehensive promotion of the construction of the Internet of Things, China's oil and gas industry has carried out a series of explorations and practices in improving the quality and efficiency of oil and gas field exploration and development, production and operation by relying on the massive data resources gradually accumulated and combined with intelligent technical means, and has achieved good application results in reservoir prediction, reservoir description, working condition diagnosis and other business scenarios. In order to fully realize the digital transformation and intelligent development of oilfield enterprises, the next step is to deepen research in the aspects of dynamic automatic monitoring and intelligent control technology at the production site, intelligent technology of a new generation of oilfield industrial big data, intelligent optimization technology for reservoir development, digital twin of oilfield and intelligent operation and command technology, etc., so as to form a series of key basic technologies of intelligent oilfield such as intelligent collection, comprehensive perception, intelligent control, early warning and prediction with a leading level, so as to support the high-quality development of oilfields and ensure national energy security.

Affected by factors such as the global political and economic situation and market games, the shock of the oil and gas energy industry has intensified, and the pattern of the oil industry has undergone significant changes. With the decline in the growth rate of oil and gas demand, the decline in the operating efficiency of oilfields, and the increasing pressure on operating costs are increasing year by year, the oil industry is facing severe challenges. At the same time, the rapid development and application of the global fourth industrial revolution driven by a new generation of information technology such as big data, artificial intelligence, 5G, and cloud computing have triggered disruptive changes in the whole society and the entire industry chain, bringing new development opportunities to the oil industry. The digital and intelligent technology revolution is a new way to open up the sustainable development of the oil industry, and the construction of intelligent oilfields is not only an effective support for the oil industry to reduce costs, improve quality and efficiency, but also an inevitable trend in the development of main business technologies such as oilfield exploration and development, which can solve the practical problems faced by the high-quality development of oilfields.

On the basis of the basic description of the concept and connotation of intelligent oilfield, the author investigates and analyzes the specific practice of Sino-foreign oil companies in the construction of intelligent oilfield, focusing on the research and key technologies formed in the field of intelligent exploration and development, intelligent production and operation of China's oil and gas fields, and analyzes the research situation of Shengli oilfield in related fields in combination with the actual work, and analyzes, predicts and prospects the development direction of intelligent oilfield in the next step and the key technologies that need to be tackled. In order to provide some reference and guidance for the construction and early realization of intelligent oilfield.

Many Chinese and foreign scholars have carried out analysis and discussion on intelligent oilfields, but there is no unified definition at present. Shi Chongdong et al. proposed that the intelligent oilfield is to comprehensively formulate and implement the reasonable and efficient exploitation of the oilfield by analyzing different fields such as the environmental layer, the data layer, the model layer, and the application layer。 Zhang Kai et al. believe that intelligent oilfield means that in the face of major production problems in the development process, such as dynamic analysis, automatic historical fitting, development plan optimization and enhanced oil recovery measures, it can "perceive" the problems in reservoir development based on real-time big data, use advanced models to "analyze" the existing problems, "think" the best strategy and plan through the intelligent optimization plan, and finally assist the oilfield engineer to "make decisions" for on-site implementation。 The construction of intelligent oil fields is the process of allowing computers or intelligent devices to gradually replace or to a certain extent replace manual mental work. Shi Yujiang et al. believe that the digital oilfield replaces the repetitive statistical work of people and is the application of knowledge The process of intelligent oilfield is replaced by the analysis and induction of human parts, the process of creating knowledge and knowledge sharing, and the inevitable result of the intelligent coordinated development of various businesses such as exploration and development technology, exploitation supporting industries, oilfield production and decision-making, and modern information technology applications

Combined with the experience and understanding of intelligent oilfield construction planning in Shengli Oilfield, the author believes that the essence and goal of intelligent oilfield is to build four capabilities: comprehensive perception, integrated coordination, early warning and prediction, analysis and optimization, based on digital oilfield, focusing on the core assets of the oilfield, such as reservoirs, oil and water wells, pipeline networks, equipment and facilities, etc., relying on information technology, to comprehensively assist asset management and benefit optimization, so as to help high-quality exploration and benefit development, and maximize the value of oilfield assets. From the perspective of construction characteristics and connotation, intelligent oilfields should have the characteristics of IoT, modeling, integration and visualization. Among them, the Internet of Things is the foundation, using sensors and other devices to realize the perception and monitoring of all asset objects and management objects in the oilfield, and at the same time, the data related to production and management are collected in real time and transmitted to the background for processing in time. Modelling is the core, on the basis of comprehensive modeling of reservoirs, oil and water wells, pipeline networks, key equipment and facilities and other objects, through data, topology and other related relationships for integrated simulation, to lay the foundation for the optimization of various schemes and measures. Integration is the key, including promoting data integration based on the construction of data lakes and realizing application integration through the industrial Internet platform, so as to realize the closed-loop management of the whole life cycle of oilfield business processes. Visualization is to display static and dynamic data in various business fields in an intuitive form anytime and anywhere with the help of graphical, three-dimensional, mobile and other technologies, including the use of digital twin technology to achieve transparent visualization of production process and business collaboration, and support interactive processing.
